If your naturally blond I say no. I did it back in 1988 when I was going through my whole punk thing. To get back I went with a virgin bleach which fried my skull and my hair. So I went with the whole Sinead O'Connor look (think Natalie Portman in V for Vendetta if you r too young to remember the 80's) for about 9 months until my hair grew back. Also I have to say a virgin bleach is a terrible waste of time and money and never turns out well, did it again in 2000 and looked like an old lady gone white. Pick up or down a shade and keep your hair healthy. After years of blond I am finding that red is my "natural" color.

well i did the same thing except i had light brown hair and now i have black but ive wanted 2 die it back 2 light brown but i cant because i wil have 2 bleac it again be4 dyeing it borwn and then my hair will fry ....

It will take some time to get it blond blond, if you do it professionally. they will gradually make it blonder. because going from really dark to blond could really damage ur hair.

I did! I dyed it black a few months before my wedding and then decided I wanted to be blonde again. I had it stripped, toned, and highlited. It was a long process but a good hairdresser can do it.

probably not, once you go black it's really hard to get it out. In order to get your hair blonde again after going black you'll have to bleach it. Bleach is VERY damaging, it really dries the hair out %26amp; leaves it looking %26amp; feeling like straw. Once you damage your hair it's really hard to restore it.

You cant go from blond-black and black-blond w/out damaging your hair.1st black is the hardest color to take of.

Not on your own. Black is the hardest color to get rid of and only turns orange with bleach on it. I've done this before at home in high school and ruined my hair. I had to cut it short and let it grown out. If you're willing the best way to do this is with a good salon. It will be costly and be a large process as Kimmie mentioned above.
