How can I get my natural hair color back?

I used to have dirty blond hair. but now its like reeealy medium-dark brown. I have NEVER dyed my hair, its just I that my hair hasnt been in the sun for a long time. How can I get my natural hair color back without dying it or staying in the sun?

If you haven't colored it and you have completely virgin hair, your hair just may be getting darker. When you say "used to" was that when you were really young? And how old (age range) are you now. The sun gives you all those beautiful highlights, yes, but not being in it is not a reason for your hair to totally change color. You can consider getting some highlights in it, but medium-dark brown IS your natural color now.
