no, do blonde instead blonde will look much better my friend did what you wanted to do and i did the blonde and i got a lot more compliments then her and people asked her why she chose to do that

From a guys perspective this is such a huge turnOFF. Two random highlights would just make it look as if you went and got dirty - in the end its just a horrible fashion faux pas.

I think it would look pretty good as long as your talking about the front. And if you have layers in the front.... But only if they aren't drastically darker than the rest of your hair!

Have you considered getting some highlights and lowlights? I love that look!
