I feel like they keep calling attention to the fact that they are blond. And honestly, I don't care about the color of your hair. I don't think it makes you sexier or dumber, or anything else. You are just a person who used some bleach on your head.

not all blondes bleach their hair. i was born a blonde and so was my daughter. but i dont know why they would make jokes about themselves, i guess its better than making jokes about other people.

It has nothing to do with the color of one's hair but it is the same with the black called other black as niger and they found it funny but not offensive,but if whites calls them niger,they are insulted or hurt! I think you can't say that the blond make fun of herself has a self-pity but maybe she has lot of sense of humor and trying to crack jokes out of herself! It depends how sarcastic the jokes is but I am pretty sure no offensement at all when someone is making joke of himself!

My best friend is Swedish, and dinner with her family is hilarious, because they know the best blonde/Swede jokes ever. A ton of blonde people (especially the natural ones) tell them all the time, and I think it's great *and* funny that they do.

Some of us don't need bleach...there is such a thing as a natural blonde are there is with every other hair colour....it makes to difference to the kind of person you are but I think sometimes other people do treat you differently. I ran a really busy bar/restaraunt in London for a long time, some guys and girls did assume because you were blonde and worked a bar you were a bimbo. It's just peoples preconceptions, that's what's annoying.
