i am a natural blond with lighter highlights in my hair. my roots look like a really dark ash blond color. are your roots always darker than the rest of your hair? i know that my roots look dark because i have highlights. but if i grow my hair out till its all natural color, will the roots still be darker than the rest of my hair? sorry if this doesnt make sense
Are your roots darker than the rest of your hair?
Yes, I have the same problem I colour my hair to a platinum blonde and I am a natural blonde level 8 -9 and my roots always look darker too, and in winter blondes always look darker. Your highlights would be a lot lighter than your natural so it makes your natural hair look a lot darker. In summer you would find your hair would look a lot lighter because of the sun's reflection.
Are your roots darker than the rest of your hair?
If you color your hair, your roots will always be darker than the hair that has grown out.
Are your roots darker than the rest of your hair?
If you grow your hair out to its all natural color your roots won't be darker than the rest of your hair, the hair color will be all the same throughout.
Are your roots darker than the rest of your hair?
my roots are darker, but i dye my hair. if you dye your hair, grow your hair out and cut the highlights out, your hair should be all natural then. if not, it's just how your hair is.
Are your roots darker than the rest of your hair?
coloured (including highlights) give you darker roots because your natural hair colour will eventually grow in at the top and is usually darker.
Usually once you grow you're hair to its complete natural colour, it'll be all even, along with your roots, unless you're hair has natural highlights, then it might be a bit different!
If you wanna get your roots to match your hair colour, i'd suggest getting a Nice 'N Easy or L'oreal colour touch up pack for your hair... Find the right colour dye, then you colour you're hair with a paint brush like thing. About 10$, at places like sephora!
But, to answer your question.. :P No, roots are *usually* not darker than your hair, unless it has highlights/ dyed!
:) hope i helped!
Are your roots darker than the rest of your hair?
yes, they will always be darker, unless you color them
even if you just color them yourself at home, your roots will most likely be darker than every other part of you hair

Are your roots darker than the rest of your hair?
Well, my hair doesn't do that anymore, but it used to.
After a while, the roots will not be noticeable because the rest of your highlights will fade away.
